listening to: Art of Life is STILL stuck in my head. Get it! I order you!
Woo! My two most evil finals are over! And they actually weren't thaaaat bad, I don't think ^-^ So no more homework or studying for 3 weeks, excluding maybe a little review Wednesday night before my written Jap final, which is not a big deal. The lecturer even told us that a lot of studying isn't gonna help much, like it doesn't for the oral parts of exams, because this stuff is drawn from what we've learned and become competent in throughout the class, not just what we can cram into our brains in one night. So yeah, no more major classwork to speak of for nearly 3 weeks. ^^
I may be going to OhayoCon next January~ ^____^ OhayoCon is an annual anime convention in Columbus, Ohio (where I live during the school year), and I believe it's Ohio's biggest. I know I'm thinking ahead a bit *snort*, especially since the kind onnanoko who invited me isn't even sure if SHE'S going. But I'm quite sure it'll work out. Also, having that much planning time gives me time to decide who I'm gonna cosplay as. XD waheee... I've been wanting to cosplay for ages now but never had a reason or money to... now I doooo *jigs* Oh, cosplaying, by the way, means dressing up as some character (anime people in the case of anime cons, of course) for some sort of cool occasion, like a con. I have sooo many cosplay ideas, blast it. Ok, let's count... there's series Utena, series duelist Utena, movie Utena, movie duelist Utena, series Anthy, series Rose Bride Anthy, movie Anthy, movie Rose Bride Anthy, Chuchu... uh, them's my Utena choices :P ...then there's Merle from Escaflowne, San from Mononoke Hime, Freya from Final Fantasy 9, and I think there's more I'm forgetting... gwaaaaah. All of em would be mondo fun, and each wold be considerably expensive and a ton of work. Except maybe Merle, who's in my top five choices at the moment (like that narrows it down any) cause she has a tail. I always wanted a tail. XD Or, I could be "creative" and go as a catgirl Utena... complete with hot pink ears and tail and such... *laughs at own weirdness* What I need to do is make a list of all my options, a written one that I can update as I please in the next few months, and draw a layout of each of their outfits and do some preliminary planning for each, so I can get an idea of how much time and money each would take. Yeah. So there's my next art venture. heh
