listening to: nothing, but a Hanson song is stuck in my head... God help me XP

I just saw possibly the cutest thing I've seen since I moved to this campus: a mother wood duck with a big ol' cluster of babies. *feels all squishy inside* They were so tiny and fuzzy and cuuuuute~~ And this made me happy cause wood ducks are really really pretty, and as of last year we only had one here (at Mirror Lake, anyway), a male, surrounded by dozens of mallards and domestic white ducks. That little guy was always my favorite. Smallest and most colorful bird on the lake. And just earlier this year I first noticed a female hanging around him, which made me even happier. And now, teensies. ^^ I'm hoping they'll stay around Mirror Lake so we can have more of those pretty pretty ducks living here. I'm tired of mallards and big white farm fowl.

My Mononoke fic is now three chapters long. I shouldn't talk about my progress on it here. I did with my Whose Line/Utena fic, and look what happened. I haven't touched it since. T_T Shame, cause it'll be finished after just one or two more games. Darn jinxes.
