I haven't seen Dumplin' online for like, a week... wonder if she's having computer trouble again... hope we get to converse somehow before Friday o_o;
Hmm. Classes aren't bad. Two of the three Japanese teachers from last quarter have been replaced; one by a teacher I had in 101, and one by someone I've never seen before. She seems ok. Biology... actually may not be as bad as I'd expected. It seems like one of those classes with essentially no homework, which is good... just suggested readings, lecture notes, and lab work. Sad thing is we have to dissect a cat, which I'm not looking forward to. ;_; I'll probably cry, if I don't puke first. However, the main textbook cost freakin' $125. I'll probably never even read it. ¬_¬
Oh, and on the way home from the bookstore I stopped by one of the two pet stores I mentioned in my last post... Menagerie Pet Store... found them online by searching for fish and aquarium places in Columbus, so I figured they'd have bettas. But... the place is disgusting. It's horribly cramped, half the tanks are either crooked or look like they could fall through the shelves at any minute, and I was seriously afraid the floor was gonna disintegrate under my feet. They had a handful of bettas, and they actually didn't look pathetic or on the verge of death (big and old though)... but I'd never buy from there. Nasty little place. The next nearest place I mentioned last time is actually further north than I thought it was... we'd have to take a bus for a few miles, and I'm not even sure if they have fish, let alone bettas. Seems the real best bet would be to find a bus that goes to Dublin-Granville or Kenny Square... I'm sure we could, but both are long trips that would take away from OhayoCon time... or to wait till we both have a free weekend. Hmmm.
Final note: it seems the International Channel has returned to Ohio State cable. *dance*
