Another spring rant...
Took another short walk yesterday. Not in the woods, just sort of around the perimeter of our property... and in my travels I found exactly two dogwood and two wild cherry trees. However, all four of them were in that line of ornamentals between the front yard and the road... and every non-redbud in that line is doomed to be cut, probably before they even get a chance to flower this year. ;_; I know there are other dogwoods around here somewhere, but I couldn't find them... and I'm pretty sure those are the only two cherry trees *sad*
However, I also discovered that we have a pawpaw tree. :P I did not know that. Its flowers amuse me. >> <<
And yes, after living here for 16 years you'd think I would know this place better. But being away at college for 4 years makes you forget little things like that. e.e
Anyway... I have like three projects to do this week. x_x Need to finish translating a fan's interview questions into Japanese for BLOOD, ideally with plenty of time to spare before the Mexico tour since there are a couple questions about Mexico in it. Then yesterday Kiwamu sent me new song lyrics to translate... THEN today he sent me another interview for Cure magazine to translate. Barely over a week after the first one nearly killed me. >.> Swear I actually went to bed before midnight the day I finished that thing. THAT is how tired it made me. Yeeeeah... the man said he had something to give me when he sees me in Mexico... bloody well better be a stack of magazines and a broad assortment of things shiny and fluffy. >> Like Kaede's freaking skirt. *ahem*
I also need to clean the tanks this evening. Don't wanna. But been putting it off for days... ugh.
Weirdly tired and sore throat-y today too... but la la...
