ADELPHIA MUST DIE.
I forgot to mention it here (did at my LJ but not here), but ever since I came home Wednesday afternoon, our internet has been screwed up. Most of the time it just didn't work at all, though every now and then it would connect for anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes. This lasted for two days, and then last night my dad called Adelphia to ask what was going on and they said it was a regional problem, not just us. After that it worked again for a good while... which I was thanking the stars for as I'd been worried that I wouldn't be able to send Kiwamu the translated members' corners for this week's update.
So I was just starting to breathe easier and preparing the corners for sending via email... AND THE INTERNET DIED AGAIN.
I didn't go to bed. I took hour-long naps at first, actually setting my alarm to get up at intervals and check to see if it was working yet. No luck until 9:30 am, when I sat down to find an email from Kiwamu in which he assumed that I'd forgotten to send him the corners. I emailed him the stupid things immediately with an explanation that I did NOT forget, but my internet died... but apparently he had already gone to bed, because when I was done I went back to sleep until 1:30 or so, and still nothing has been updated and there's no response from him.
I've been doing translations for BLOOD for over a year now, and for at least 10 of those 13 months, ever since the previous translator finally disappeared, I've sent them EVERY WEEK without fail. And NOW my stupid internet decides to be retarded and makes me late for the first time.
The little brat BETTER actually read my email and know it wasn't my freaking fault... meanwhile I need to hunt down whoever is in charge of overseeing this region-wide Adelphia problem and have their head(s) on a stake...
