feeling: restless
listening to: Ninomiya Kazunari - Yume

9_9

I'm a doof. The concert's not in Mitsuwa Marketplace. The autograph signing event is. The concert is at the Subterranean in Chicago at 6:30.

Guess that's what I get for thinking all along that I wouldn't be able to go on this tour at all and then doing a half-arsed job of checking the schedule with one week remaining.

Doesn't really change much of what I had in mind schedule-wise, I don't think... but it does mean the concert's not free after all. >.> $15 for a ticket... and it doesn't appear to be sold out yet...

Geez, some "official agent" I am.

Wish it was possible to predict the weather... accurately, I mean... *coughs at forecasts that keep changing every 6 hours* That's the main factor holding me back from making firm decisions to drive and lodge and etc. If I do, the tentative plan is to leave as soon as I get up on Sunday, visit Mitsuwa if I get there before 8 pm, stay in a motel half a mile away, hook up with BLOOD on Monday and dedicate that day to them, see them off Tuesday morning, and start the drive back home no later than... maybe 2 pm on Tuesday, so I won't make the whole drive in the dark.

I did remember that I have $50 worth of Walmart gift cards, and since Walmart doesn't have the games I was planning to use them for, I can use that to keep myself fed along the way. There are Walmarts everywhere, right? >.> Or I can sell them to my parents and use the cash at Mitsuwa instead, and pack a couple sandwiches and Capri Suns in a cooler... which I think I'll do anyway... hmmm...

This is all IF the weather holds and I decide to drive.

GOD I RAMBLE TOO MUCH ABOUT THINGS I DON'T EVEN KNOW YET.

*is really twitchy about this whole trip*

Well if you come up Sunday I get off of work at 5, so you'll be here by the time I get off... I don't have my work schedule for the rest of the week, but I'm fairly sure I'm working 4-9:30 on both Monday & Tuesday... So Sunday's the best day. I could call off Monday though... It'd be the second time I've called off and they owe me :)

Also, yes there are Walmarts everywhere. It's the largest store in the world, I'm pretty sure...

Sunday evening is cool ^^ Got a friend to come along with me, and we'll stay at one of the cheap hotels in Arlington Heights... I'd say we'll be doing good if we get there by 7 pm. Any ideas where we should try to meet and what to do that evening?

Never been up that way, that's an hour north of my house.. I imagine you guys'll be hungry, so probably a food place would be good to start at. As to what to do... Not sure. I'll probably want to leave by at the latest midnight, and I'd bet you guys will want to have been sleeping before then anyway for the crazy day Monday... Not sure what all would still be open after dinner... I'm thinking slightly-more-fancy-than-fast-food, as in, mebbie like $10/person food? TGI Fridays, Buffalo Wild Wings, Bakers Square... IHOP? I'd imagine most places you've got we've got around here too...

Actually, my house is kinda along the way to get to Arlington Heights. Theoretically you guys could drop by here before going the rest of the way up to your hotel? I live in Orland Park...

Ahh, that sounds cool too. If you wanna email me your address or whatnot I'll start printing out directions ^^

Heh, actually neither of us is known to have much appetite when traveling, so we'll both probably be fine with light snack/dessert type stuff. Did you say there was a Cold Stone Creamery near there? Might not be open though... Rachel suggested Steak & Shake, and IHOP sounds cool to me since I haven't stopped craving Belgian waffles since I graduated from OSU... so we can probably narrow it down to one between now and then, or just improvise when we get there :P

Did you get my email?

Yes there is a Cold Stone here, a Steak & Shake somewhere not too far... I think.

If you didn't get my email... gimmie a call or something for my address. 1/630/306/1831
