feeling: anti-existence

So my brother, who has been in Georgia since the beginning of January for job training, had less than one week left of classes left when the message came today that the entire group of trainees he had gone there with was laid off and sent home. All those weeks of training, only days to go, and then just like that, it's all a waste and he's jobless again.
Can anyone say "life sucks"?
On the plus side, he's home now, which means his psychotic cat is FINALLY out of this house. Hallelujah.
